I am currently in the middle of a LANDESK trial and I am experimenting with OS provisioning.
Ok, here goes.....
My aim at the moment has been to configure two templates, based on two different images.
The first image is Windows 7 only with no applications and just a few modifications.
The second image is Windows 7 with some applications which I know from experience will be very difficult to automate the installation (I want to try minimise as much as possible that is installed on the image).
My first image/template works perfectly. As you can see below, I provisioned the machine and it completed successfully.
However, I have tried countless times to do the same thing with my image which contains a few applications and it continuously fails:
The strange thing is that the template is a clone of the one that works, with the only change being the path of the image (I have definitely clicked validate). The image itself is built from the original image, so it is also basically identical (except for the few additional applications).
I have tried 3 or 4 times to recapture the image just in case I syspreped it incorrectly, but it always fails.
I even tried rebuilding the the provisioning template from scratch (but using the same settings) and it still fails.
Any ideas what is going on? Are there any logs I can log at to identify the problem?
