Introduction
With the introduction of Management Suite 9.6, a set of new features have been introduced.
https://community.landesk.com/support/docs/DOC-31597 .
One of these includes the opportunity to join to a specific Organisational Unit in a provisioning template.
In fact, while in the past the end user had to undertake a few steps such as manually edit the xml file in order to achieve this objective, with the new provisioning form, this operation has been simplified.
This document explains how to easily join an Organisational Unit (OU) in a few steps.
How to:
To join a specific OU (in our example called OUTest2) within another OU (OUTest1) of a domain (LANDesk.local). (Figure 1)
Step by step

- Use the correspondent button (figure 2 and 3).
3. Create a variable (option “Add”) called “domain” which will be used to contain the details of your domain.
4. Add the username and password of a user with the permissions to join a domain and set the variables of your template as shown in the (figure 4)
5. Fill the rest of the template with the remaining required information (figure 4).
6. Apply Changes and schedule the template for deployment.
